What is pagerank?
Google, as any other search engine, indexes the content of your website’s page and uses an algorithm to determine how relevant and important is your website to the search query. Then they give it a “page-rank” and puts it in the right position between the worst website and the best.
There are several ways to know your pagerank, or what content is giving your site strength or not, and there are two types of data in your pages: The visible one, for human reading, and the metadata, which gives instructions and extra information to the browser. The later has been abused through the years to gain better position (yes, all those websites were penalized, put down, and lost all that money investment).
